Troop 97 had the great pleasure to welcome four new Eagle Scouts into the “Eagle Nest.” The names of the new Eagle Scouts are Benjamin Blanton, Trey Sims, Fischer Hawkins, andJames Kirk. The first speaker was Mrs. Mary Binkley speaking on behalf of Benjamin Blanton, the second speaker speaking on behalf of James Kirk was Mr. Ron Pence, Homewood Band Director, the third speaker on the stand was Mr. Tim Hurry, Homewood High School Math Teacher, speaking for Fischer Hawkins, and the last speaker was Dr. Bill Cleveland, Homewood School Superintendent speaking for Trey Sims. It was a great ceremony and the reception afterward was superb.
