Strong, Ethical, Alert, Leader – This event is one of the requirements to earn the SEAL patch. The patch itself is not a Scouting rank requirement but many of the requirements are Eagle required Merit Badges such as Personnel Fitness. Scouts wishing to participate in the challenge will be required to meet at Hamburger Heaven at 6:30 AM on Saturday, August 23rd. We will depart from there to Oak Mountain where the Scouts will participate as teams of five in a orienteering course that will involve, swimming, boating and hiking. The challenge will end in the picnic area around noon where we will have a picnic for all. Everyone is invited to come out and watch the event.
