Ski trip 2017 was a true success with a full day of Skiing and Snow Boarding at Cataloochee Ski Area in Maggie Valley, NOC. Sometimes you have to just trust your gut and go despite concerns that there might not be any snow to ski on. We did that and it paid off.
On Sunday morning Troop 97 was ready to ski and we were the first on the slopes for the Milk Run. In fact, Troop 97 was the only group on the slopes from 8:00 until 11:00 with no ski lift line! And even with a decreasing snow pack, the conditions were ideal. A great time was had by all.
Special thanks to all of the adults that went and to our Senior Patrol Leader, Patrick McMahon for his leadership.
