Troop 97 took its annual schools out trip to the U.S.S. Yorktown in Charleston, South Carolina at the end of May 2015. The scouts spent three nights sleeping in the bunks on the world war II era aircraft carrier. Merit badges such as oceanography, astronomy and aviation were earned and side trips to the beach and Fort Sumter rounded out this fantastic trip.
